Urban Decay: Eyeshadow Primer Potion

I've been absolutely dying to try Urban Decay Eyeshadow Potion Primers. They were on HauteLook one day and I decided to quickly grab them all. So what is primer? Why use primer? Primer helps eyeshadow last longer and helps prevent those nasty creases that occur after long eyeshadow use. Urban Decay is known for these potion primers and they currently come in four different variations: Sin, Original, Greed, and Eden.

These eye shadow primers help to prep, brighten, and provide all-day wear. They can also be used as primers, highlighters, or eye shadows on their own.

Sin: Sin is a shimmery champagne color, which I absolutely adore.
Original: The original formula is a sheer nude and meant to completely disappear when blended to provide the purist primer.
Greed: Greed is a gold shimmery color and would definitely make the eye pop.
Eden: Eden is a matte primer and is also suppose to be nude when blended in.

All four of these primers are amazing to have. Sin and Greed are great for when I wear shimmery eye shadows to add to the shadows effect. They have great stay power and have lasted all day without any creasing for me. My only complaint is I bought the old version of the primers, in that their packaging requires you to break open and depot the primer because it is very difficult to get it all out. If you are thinking about purchasing one of Urban Decay's primers I'd recommend purchasing the new squeeze tubes to avoid this hassle. Have you tried any of the Urban Decay Primers? I was so excited to receive this! I was in need of a new razor, so this came at just the perfect time. This 5 blade razor has a Olay Moisture Bar that helps lock-in moisture. A refillable Venus & Olay with one replacement cartridge sells for approximately $8.99-$10.99. This packages also contains a wall cling so you can hang the razor in your shower. I must say I absolutely love this razor! First off the Olay double moisture bars smells amazing, kind of like caramel or vanilla. I barely felt the razor on my skin while shaving, so I was a little nervous if it was actually working. It was! The Olay moisture bars provide a left-over residue after shaving, but this isn't any bad residue. Actually it is quite amazing! After shaving I rubbed in this left-over residue and could feel just how close of a shave it gave. My skin has felt silky, smooth the whole day! If you are a little hesitate because of the price, don't be! It actually equals out pretty well, due to the fact you can completely avoid any shaving cream with this product.Venus & Olay will be available starting March 15, 2012 at food, drug, convenience and mass merchandise stores throughout the United States. I can't wait to use these! I obsessed with animal print, so I instantly fell in love. Not to mention they are shimmery! I usually prefer to paint my own leopard print, but this will be nice for those lazy days. It comes in a package of 28, which means you can use on your toes or accent fingers, along with a full out mani. I can't wait to use these! Nail Dress’ suggested retail is $6.99 and is available in all major drug chains and mass retailers like WalMart, CVS and Walgreens.

Stash Tea Herbal Tea Sampler

This sampler features some of Stash Tea's most popular herbal teas. It contains 18 packets, two of each flavor and I must say all of them sound delicious! Flavors include: acai berry, blueberry superfruit, chamomile, cinnamon apple chamomile, lemon ginger, licorice spice, mango passionfruit, peppermint, and wild raspberry hibiscus. I have tried quite a few tea brands, but this has to be one of the top for me. I recently tried the wild raspberry hibiscus and it was amazing! I added a little sugar and honey like I normally do when I drink hot tea, but this was definitely not needed. The flavor was amazing, I can't really even describe it. I have tried so many teas that claim to be made from different fruits or herbs, but when I go to drink it I could never tell. When I tried the wild raspberry hibiscus, it was like an explosion of flavor in my mouth. No joke! I could actually taste the raspberry. I normally like to sip my teas, but I found myself drinking this down so I could continue to taste all the different flavors. I would highly recommend this tea!! Where can you find this? Well, Stash tea is sold at grocery stores, tea and coffee shops, club stores, mass merchandisers, natural foods stores, and online. Suggested retail value is $3.50.

Ghirardelli Gourmet Milk Creamy Devotion Bar

This decadently rich and creamy 32% cacao milk chocolate in Creamy Devotion delivers an epicurean chocolate experience. I must first say I'm a HUGE fan of Ghirardelli chocolate to begin with. My favorite is the milk chocolate with caramel, but after eating all of this bar I have to say Creamy Devotion is a close second. If you love milk chocolate you have to try this. It basically melts in your mouth and after one square all I could think about was when I was going to eat the rest. Ghirardelli can be found at Target, Walmart, www.ghirardelli.com and most grocery stores. Suggested retail price is $2.99. Plus I received a coupon for $1.00 off any two. I think I know what two I will be buying.

Truvia Natural Sweetener

Truvia is a natural sweetener that is refreshingly uncomplicated, made from the best tasting part of the Stevia plant. I'm not much for adding sugar in general to things, but if I'm looking for a zero-calorie sweetener this would be the one. Artificial sweeteners are not really good for the body, so if I were to be looking for a zero-calorie sweetener I would pick Truvia because it's natural. Truvia can be found in most major retailers and has a suggested retail of $3.99.

Billion Dollar Brows

Hey Ladies!!! I have an amazing product to tell you about today, Billion Dollar Brows. If you're one of the unfortunate one with less than perfect eyebrows you know exactly how I feel. I first got my eyebrows waxed in middle school and after that decided to maintain the shape through tweezing/plucking. In theory this was a good idea, although, I became almost OCD in the fact that almost every morning or evening I spent forever in front of the mirror over plucking my eyebrows. It came to the point my eyebrows were getting too thin because I obsessed over plucking every baby hair, which led to plucking too much of one eyebrow and then having to match it to the other eyebrow. It was a horrible cycle to say the least! I have met many like me, so if you do something similar you are not alone!! After I realized thin eyebrows were "out" I needed help. I had many attempts to allow my eyebrow to regrow and of coarse go wild... yuck and then go to the salon and have someone reshape them. Although, every time I came out of the salon disappointed. I went to multiple salons and had multiple people wax my eyebrows, but I was never happy. I was so jealous of the woman with beautiful full eyebrows that had perfect arcs. 

I recently made a new decision to again try to regrow my eyebrow, but this time go to a professional salon specialized only in eyebrows. At first I was excited, but this slowly faded as I thought this may not be the answer either. The problem was me, MY eyebrows! My eyebrows are just too thin, and with all the waxing and over plucking the hair is growing back sporadically and for some strange reason is not growing directly under my eyebrow line. I attribute this to the waxing line, but have no idea why this would have occurred.  I also realized I don't have an arc! My eyebrows look very straight, and I felt there was no hope to ever having a beautiful arc. 

If you are in this situation you know exactly how I feel. Eyebrows seem like just a minor body feature, but they have so much impact on the face. They make makeup look more dramatic, draw more attention to the eyes, and give a person a distinct look. So I've really felt like I'm missing out. But.... Thanks to Billion Dollar Brow, they feel that "Beautiful Brows are a RIGHT, not a privilege." This means there is help for us!! Billion Dollar Brow sent me these three products to try out and review. My Opinion:

I have used the Brow Boost only a few days now and have no complaints. I was impressed that the formula didn't have a smell at all, which may be due to the natural ingredients. The application is easy to do, it basically resembles a lip gloss applicator. I'm excited to keep using the product, in hopes of seeing good results. Check out their website for Before and Afters. My Opinion:

Where was this a few years ago. For one of my high school senior pictures I had changed outfits, which must have bumped my eyebrows causing the hair to go out of place. Uggh! I still look at that picture with dread. The application is super easy, just like putting on mascara, just brush your brows. This product would be great for anyone. We use primer and finishing powders and sprays for our makeup, well why are we forgetting our eyebrows?!

My Opinion:
This eyebrow pencil is amazing. When I had wanted more dramatic, arched eyebrows my stylist provided me with an eyebrow pencil. The eyebrow pencil I received from the salon was horrible. I have very light colored brows, due to my blonde hair. Even with the salon's lightest pencil it didn't match and looked completely drawn on... icky!! I was soooo amazed that the Universal Eyebrow Pencil worked for me! The pencil consistency is very creamy, which makes it very easy to apply light or darker depending on skin tones and hair color. I also love that the pencil is retractable, so no worries about it ever breaking. The spoolie brush is also perfect to help lighten up the color and make sure it is blended properly. I seriously can't find anything wrong with this pencil. I would recommend it to anyone, especially if you are nervous with picking out the correct color. This pencil prevents all guessing when it comes to finding the right eyebrow pencil for you!

Rrrr Wild Wednesday

Hey everyone!! I hope everyone is having a good middle of the week and of coarse Happy Pink Wednesday!  I decided to just a hint of pink today. I had already picked my outfit out for day and I thought gray nails would match perfectly, but of coarse it is Pink Wednesday so I had to add a little pink. So I came up with gray and pink leopard nails! I actually love the color combination!

Forever 21 Jewelry Haul

I thought I would share my recent Forever 21 jewelry haul. I picked up a few rings, necklaces, a bracelet and earrings. Jewelry can really add a little "something" to any outfit. I really love longer necklaces. I also love wings, so when I saw the black wing necklace I had to grab it!
