Pink Ombre Nails

Hey Loves! OMGosh has it been awhile! I have a two weeks left of school and then I'm all yours. Well... kinda... studying for the NCLEX may consume some of my life after school. Hopefully, not too much! haha. It's been forever since I've done a mani for Pink Wednesday so I thought it would be a perfect break from all my studies to do a gradient/ombre pink mani! I'm actually quite impressed by how it turned out. Unfortunately, my camera is being a little stubborn and it's hard to see the ombre effect but, it's there!
AHH! Pink Overload! lol just kidding...

Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush + Bronzer

Like Blush & Bronzer? The minute I saw these blushes advertised I had to know why they were "bouncy". Well it's the formula actually. It's this amazing mixture between being a cream and powder blush. I'm quite the fan of these (if you can't tell)! I had the hardest time choosing what color I liked the best, so I just bought them all! Walgreen's was (and maybe still is) having a sale of all Maybelline cosmetics buy one get one 50% off + the cosmetic counter had a dollar off coupon + my own coupons. I kind of felt like an extreme couponer, but it was so worth it! The formula of these products are creamy and very buildable. I found it very easy to build the color and make it more pigmented. Unfortunately, my camera was a ms. sassy and didn't photography the swatches as amazing as they really are. So just imagine the swatches 10x more pigmented and bright!
Rose Pink 15, Candy Coral 30, Peach Satin 20
Pink Frosting 10, Fresh Pink 05
Pink Plum 40, Hot Tamale 70
Plum Wine 50, Orchid Hush 45, Coffee Cake 60
Now the bronzers!! No summer is complete without an amazing bronzer! I believe these are new and I only found them on a select Walgreens. I love both colors. These bronzer are extremely shimmery and fun. Since they are made of the same creamy formula as the blush, they are super easy to apply and blend, which avoids any hard lines. No one wants to look like a bad bronzed Snooki and these beautiful bronzers will definitely prevent that! I really like the Sun Glow, but I'm also into combining the two to create an amazing bronze look!
Glistening Sun 80, Sun Glow 90
Do you having any of the Dream Bouncy Blushes or Bronzers? Which is your favorite? My top three are Coral Candy, Fresh Pink and Coffee Cake. Coffee Cake is an amazing brown toned pink, which is amazing on a summer tan face. Never tried these blushes? Would you like a video to see the formula and why their called "bouncy". You may be surprised if you don't own one yourself!! Let me know! I always love your comments!!

Glitter Tips for an All Black Mani

Hello! Happy Wednesday!! I'm a little bit sad that I haven't participated in Pink Wednesday in a long time. Usually, school has kept me too busy. Especially with Wednesday exams, my poor nails have been neglected. Today I have another excuse for the lack of pink, because I had my Nursing School Senior group picture today. The dress code was a black shirt and dark jeans, thus the black mani. I have to ask you all this because I'm not sure if I'm a little OCD or whatever, but I HATE dark clothes with dark jeans!!! If I wear a black shirt I go towards lighter wash jeans and the opposite with a white shirt I then will pick darker jeans. To solve my issue I wore a white cami to break it up and give some contrast. Am I crazy or do you all feel the same way?! Comment below!
Here are the flats I wore with my all dark attire! These are one of my favorite flats. I purchased them in the fall from Charming Charlie. I absolutely LOVE that store, it's like an accessory wonderland and everything is divided up by color.
This picture makes my feet look crazy awkward, like my feet are opposite. yikes!
I used OPI - Metallic For Life & China Glaze - Liquid Leather
Let me know what you think. I'm loving gradient sparkles!! Do you? If you have a gradient mani you want to share post a picture to my Facebook page. I would love to see! =) Have a wonderful and chip-free day!

Kiss Nail Dress

Hey all! So I finally got around to testing my Kiss Nail Dress from my Influenster Love Vox Box. As you may know from some of my other nail posts, I love creating my own nail designs. I love the satisfaction of saying, "Oh, I did that myself!" and seeing everyone's pure amazement when they look at my nails. So the idea of the Nail Dress seemed kind of lazy to me. Don't get me wrong I love the idea of these, I just feel like I'm doing myself an injustice. Well that was before! After seeing how easy these were to apply I may have just changed my mind.
My Leopard Kiss Nail Dress!
Finger Paints - Figure of Art, with Kiss Nail Dress accent finger
Product Details
Kiss Nail Dress is the ultimate nail fashion for tips and toes! To apply is easy, just peel, apply, and shape for a manicure that lasts up to 10 days. On in minutes, off in seconds without remover. Nail Dress is available in 18 different styles, many of them featuring 3-dimensional jeweled designs. Skip the topcoat, Nail Dress has it built in. With 28 strips in each package, you can cut up your extras to create designs that can be used on top of polished or artificial nails. Nail Dress doesn’t dry out the way other polish strips can, so you can save them to use on your next DIY mani. A nail design booklet is included in each package, just in case you need a little inspiration. And don’t forget about your feet! Nail Dress looks awesome on toes, too – just use the square side of the sticker for a perfect fit.

Where to Buy
Nail Dress’ suggested retail is $6.99 and is available in all major drug chains and mass retailers like WalMart, CVS and Walgreens.

My Review
I saw some reviews that made it look super challenging and impossible to apply these, which made me completely freaked out. I hate to say it, but I don't know what was happening for those people. If you've ever placed a sticker on something, well your pretty much set! I made sure my nails were completely clean before applying with a little nail polish remover. I placed the Nail Dress right under my cuticle and smoothed out the edges. The Nail Dress are relatively long and since my nails are pretty short right now, I cut off some excess after applying. Then I folded over the remaining excess and with the supplied nail file, I filed of the remaining Nail Dress. I really can't believe how easy it was to apply and how much it looks like polish. There are varying shapes so it was super easy to find a sticker that matched the size of my nail. They've held up really well, and best part no chipping!! I think these are great. I can't wait to be a little more creative and cut some of them and create different nail designs. I also really want the one with rhinestones!!

Let me know what you think! Have you ever tried nail stickers like the Kiss Nail Dress or Sally Hansen's Nail Effects? Want to see what else I received in my Influester Love Vox Box?

Urban Decay: Eyeshadow Primer Potion

I've been absolutely dying to try Urban Decay Eyeshadow Potion Primers. They were on HauteLook one day and I decided to quickly grab them all. So what is primer? Why use primer? Primer helps eyeshadow last longer and helps prevent those nasty creases that occur after long eyeshadow use. Urban Decay is known for these potion primers and they currently come in four different variations: Sin, Original, Greed, and Eden.
Sin
Original
Greed
Eden

Blended in
Blended in (without flash)
These eye shadow primers help to prep, brighten, and provide all-day wear. They can also be used as primers, highlighters, or eye shadows on their own.

Sin: Sin is a shimmery champagne color, which I absolutely adore.
Original: The original formula is a sheer nude and meant to completely disappear when blended to provide the purist primer.
Greed: Greed is a gold shimmery color and would definitely make the eye pop.
Eden: Eden is a matte primer and is also suppose to be nude when blended in.

All four of these primers are amazing to have. Sin and Greed are great for when I wear shimmery eye shadows to add to the shadows effect. They have great stay power and have lasted all day without any creasing for me. My only complaint is I bought the old version of the primers, in that their packaging requires you to break open and depot the primer because it is very difficult to get it all out. If you are thinking about purchasing one of Urban Decay's primers I'd recommend purchasing the new squeeze tubes to avoid this hassle. Have you tried any of the Urban Decay Primers? Let me know which ones and what you think!

Ghiradelli Gourmet Milk Chocolate Creamy Devotion Bar, Stash Tea Herbal Tea Sampler, Truvia Natural Sweetener, Kiss Nail Dress - Fashion That Sticks, Gillette Venus & Olay Razor
Gillette Venous & Olay Razor
I was so excited to receive this! I was in need of a new razor, so this came at just the perfect time. This 5 blade razor has a Olay Moisture Bar that helps lock-in moisture. A refillable Venus & Olay with one replacement cartridge sells for approximately $8.99-$10.99. This packages also contains a wall cling so you can hang the razor in your shower. I must say I absolutely love this razor! First off the Olay double moisture bars smells amazing, kind of like caramel or vanilla. I barely felt the razor on my skin while shaving, so I was a little nervous if it was actually working. It was! The Olay moisture bars provide a left-over residue after shaving, but this isn't any bad residue. Actually it is quite amazing! After shaving I rubbed in this left-over residue and could feel just how close of a shave it gave. My skin has felt silky, smooth the whole day! If you are a little hesitate because of the price, don't be! It actually equals out pretty well, due to the fact you can completely avoid any shaving cream with this product.Venus & Olay will be available starting March 15, 2012 at food, drug, convenience and mass merchandise stores throughout the United States. I know I will be one of the first to buy it that day too!
Kiss Nail Dress - Fashion That Sticks
I can't wait to use these! I obsessed with animal print, so I instantly fell in love. Not to mention they are shimmery! I usually prefer to paint my own leopard print, but this will be nice for those lazy days. It comes in a package of 28, which means you can use on your toes or accent fingers, along with a full out mani. I can't wait to use these! Nail Dress’ suggested retail is $6.99 and is available in all major drug chains and mass retailers like WalMart, CVS and Walgreens.
Stash Tea Herbal Tea Sampler
This sampler features some of Stash Tea's most popular herbal teas. It contains 18 packets, two of each flavor and I must say all of them sound delicious! Flavors include: acai berry, blueberry superfruit, chamomile, cinnamon apple chamomile, lemon ginger, licorice spice, mango passionfruit, peppermint, and wild raspberry hibiscus. I have tried quite a few tea brands, but this has to be one of the top for me. I recently tried the wild raspberry hibiscus and it was amazing! I added a little sugar and honey like I normally do when I drink hot tea, but this was definitely not needed. The flavor was amazing, I can't really even describe it. I have tried so many teas that claim to be made from different fruits or herbs, but when I go to drink it I could never tell. When I tried the wild raspberry hibiscus, it was like an explosion of flavor in my mouth. No joke! I could actually taste the raspberry. I normally like to sip my teas, but I found myself drinking this down so I could continue to taste all the different flavors. I would highly recommend this tea!! Where can you find this? Well, Stash tea is sold at grocery stores, tea and coffee shops, club stores, mass merchandisers, natural foods stores, and online. Suggested retail value is $3.50.
Ghirardelli Gourmet Milk Creamy Devotion Bar
This decadently rich and creamy 32% cacao milk chocolate in Creamy Devotion delivers an epicurean chocolate experience. I must first say I'm a HUGE fan of Ghirardelli chocolate to begin with. My favorite is the milk chocolate with caramel, but after eating all of this bar I have to say Creamy Devotion is a close second. If you love milk chocolate you have to try this. It basically melts in your mouth and after one square all I could think about was when I was going to eat the rest. Ghirardelli can be found at Target, Walmart, www.ghirardelli.com and most grocery stores. Suggested retail price is $2.99. Plus I received a coupon for $1.00 off any two. I think I know what two I will be buying.
Truvia Natural Sweetener
Truvia is a natural sweetener that is refreshingly uncomplicated, made from the best tasting part of the Stevia plant. I'm not much for adding sugar in general to things, but if I'm looking for a zero-calorie sweetener this would be the one. Artificial sweeteners are not really good for the body, so if I were to be looking for a zero-calorie sweetener I would pick Truvia because it's natural. Truvia can be found in most major retailers and has a suggested retail of $3.99.

Overall, I'm very happy with my first VoxBox. Remember if you would like to receive FREE boxes of products to review check out Influenster today!! Let me know what you think of all the goodies I received. Anyone tried some of these products before? Do you like them?
